1. The Center for Professional Development at UT, organized on February 12, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., in the premises of the Rectorate of UT, the training, on the topic "Assessment of air quality in Albania and the problems related to it", of which was held by Prof. Dr. Pranvera Lazo, engaged as academic staff at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana, with over 40 years of work experience as a lecturer and researcher.

The purpose of the study:

- This study aims to identify the factors that have caused a high level of 

                 metals, especially toxic ones, in the atmospheric deposition in the territory of Albania.

                – Areas with high concentration of some metals are suggested for monitoring 

                 further and to be under control.

                 - These results serve the decision-makers to draft policies and rules  

                 accurate in reducing atmospheric emissions, and protecting people's health and           

                 the environment.
