UNINOVIS – The New European University is an inter-university alliance that aims to strengthen cooperation between European universities through innovation, academic exchange and sustainable development. This alliance brings together higher education institutions that share a common vision to create an international, inclusive and future-oriented educational environment.

The purpose of UNINOVIS – Data for LIFE is the creation of an alliance of seven higher education institutions, spread across Europe, which aims to combine their expertise to significantly improve the capacities and skills to understand, analyse, manage, use and protect data in the EU. The focus of this alliance on the development of data science and the promotion of digital and technological competences constitute the unique elements of its contribution to overcoming the challenges of the 21st century.

Through participation in UNINOVIS, the University of Tirana engages in:

• Developing joint study and research programs;
• Promoting the mobility of students and academic staff;
• Collaboration to solve global challenges through knowledge and innovation;
• Creating a virtual European campus where students benefit from a multifaceted and intercultural education.

The UNINOVIS Alliance is part of the European Universities initiative, supported by the European Commission, which aims to build a common educational and research space in Europe.
