EUA
European University Association (EUA) is the largest organization representing universities and national rectors' conferences in Europe. It plays a key role in protecting and promoting the interests of higher education, research and innovation, as well as in strengthening the role of universities in the social, economic and cultural development of the continent.
The main objectives of the EUA are:
- Representing European universities and influencing the policies of the European Union and other international organizations on issues of higher education and scientific research;
- Promoting quality and innovation in higher education through projects, guidelines and the exchange of best practices;
- Supporting universities in institutional and academic reform processes, including the development of university autonomy and governance;
- Strengthening international cooperation between European universities and global partners;
- Promoting the mobility of students, academic staff and researchers as an essential element of the European Higher Education and Research Area.
The University of Tirana is a member of the EUA, actively participating in important initiatives and projects related to the development of higher education and scientific research at the European level. Through this commitment, the UT strengthens the international dimension of its programs, contributes to academic reform processes and increases opportunities for cooperation with partners from across Europe.
