ABSTRACT:

This dissertation aims to present a doctrinal and practical overview regarding digital sexual crimes. The dissertation presents various legislative perspectives regarding digital sexual crimes as well as selected jurisprudence in this field. Digital sexual crimes are essentially sexual crimes that are specifically assisted by technology in various forms. Using the latest technological innovations and developments, digital sexual crimes have come to the forefront, once again emphasizing the importance of the legal response that law enforcement agencies must take to prevent and punish all active subjects of these criminal offenses.

The dissertation presents different legislative viewpoints related to digital sexual crimes as well as selected jurisprudence in this field. Digital sexual crimes are essentially sexual crimes that are assisted in a special way by technology in different forms. Using the latest technological innovations and developments, digital sexual crimes have come to the fore, re-emphasizing once again the importance of the legal response that law enforcement bodies must take in order to prevent and punish all the perpetrators of these criminal acts.
