🎯In the framework of the Conference of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Albania, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama, expressed the full support of the Albanian Government for the implementation of the Tirana Grand University Campus project🏫, describing it as a strategic investment for the development of higher education and scientific research in the country.
🔎He emphasized that the project is completed in conceptual terms and that further phases of implementation will be undertaken in close cooperation with the University of Tirana and 🔎relevant institutions.
👉During his speech, the Prime Minister noted the central role of the University of Tirana as the main public institution of higher education in the country, underlining the importance of strengthening its academic, research and infrastructural capacities. He emphasized that the creation of a modern university campus aims to significantly improve the study and work conditions for students and academic staff, as well as to increase the competitiveness of the University of Tirana in the regional and European higher education space.
📌The Prime Minister also explained that the project for the construction of the College of Europe does not overlap with the University Campus project, but will be functionally integrated with it. The academic infrastructure of this institution, including libraries, conference rooms and other study spaces, will be interconnected with the university campus and will be put at the service of the academic and student community, promoting academic cooperation and the exchange of best European practices.
âś…The Rectorate of the University of Tirana will continue to inform the academic community on further developments regarding this strategic project, in order to strengthen the role of the University of Tirana as a national center of knowledge and innovation.
