65 years of UT, the first university in Albania!

We started with a teacher, to revive and save our language first. We traveled on not easy roads. We had the heroes and martyrs of the school. And here we are today. We celebrate the 65th anniversary of the first Albanian university. The birthday of the first school and university is the most important day for a nation, after independence. Centuries ago, Albania marked the opening of academies, libraries and printing houses. But history has not been very much in our favor. However, this year marks the official birthday of the first university in Albania.

It is the University of Tirana, which opened its doors precisely in 1957.
