The project aims to be a key instrument for building knowledge, skills and attitudes on environmental policies, climate change and sustainable development in line with EU strategies and priorities, bringing together university students, academic staff, civil society, government and private institutions operating in the field of environmental issues and EU integration. The main result of the project will be the revised and adapted cycle of lectures on Environmental Economics in line with EU university programs. The subject will be taught to students in the last year of economics studies (bachelor studies), including three chapters of this subject related to EU standards that will be taught at the Master's level in the subjects Integration in the European Union and Economics of Development. For each chapter, a package of learning materials will be prepared that includes key studies, and experts on environmental issues, EU integration and sustainable economic development will be regularly invited to open lectures to share their expertise. Students will have to engage independently on one of the topics related to the initiatives undertaken by the EU in the framework of the relationship between environmental issues and sustainable economic development. In order to share the results of the project with the beneficiaries and to stimulate debates about environmental issues and how they relate to sustainable economic development, a summer school will be organized with representatives of at least 6 different universities in Albania, round tables with groups. of interest and also a specific website.
