University Agency of La Francophonie (AUF)
University Agency of La Francophonie (AUF) is an international network of universities and educational institutions that use the French language as a medium of education and scientific research. The AUF aims to promote academic, scientific and cultural cooperation among its members and to support the development of higher education and research throughout the Francophone world.
The main objectives of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) are:
- Promoting international cooperation between Francophone universities;
- Promoting the mobility of students, professors and researchers;
- Supporting research and innovation projects in higher education;
- Exchange of best practices in the field of teaching, university management and capacity development;
- Strengthening the role of Francophone universities in global developments and in the promotion of the French language and culture;
The University of Tirana, through the Faculty of Foreign Languages and its other faculties, has been actively engaged in joint projects with the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF). These projects have contributed to strengthening the research, teaching and innovation capacities of our institution, promoting internationalization and regional and international cooperation.

Through these projects, the University of Tirana has consolidated its role as a key actor in the field of research and teaching in the French language, promoted cultural diversity and contributed to the development of innovative practices in pedagogy, science and cultural heritage.
