The purpose of the project will consist of encouraging and supporting EU studies, focusing on the European Green Deal. It is proposed to create the Module "Albanian Protected Areas in the framework of EU Integration", which will be implemented by the Faculty of History and Philology (FHF), UT and will include about 270 master's students in three years. This proposal encourages the development of a multidisciplinary course and will be divided into four parts (Environmental, Social, Economic, GIS/RS), where each of them will focus on and familiarize participants with EU directives and the most good for the sustainable management of the protected. Main objectives are:
- Equipping students with multidisciplinary tools and knowledge to analyze the link between theory and practice regarding the EU integration process and its Green Deal.
- Modernization of the quality of Master programs in FHF, using geospatial data technology (GIS/RS) in real problem solving.
- To provide MA students with knowledge and skills in contemporary EU studies in the areas of Environmental Directives and PAs.
- Encouraging master's students, institutions, media and researchers to be involved in the debate of environmental, social and economic issues of Albanian and European PAs.
