Association of Economic Universities of South and Eastern Europe (ASECU) is an international network of economic and business universities in Southeastern and Eastern Europe, created to strengthen academic and research cooperation in the fields of economics, management and social sciences.

The main objectives of the Association of Economic Universities of South and Eastern Europe (ASECU) are:

• Promoting academic and research cooperation between member universities;
• Promoting the mobility of students, lecturers and administrative staff;
• Exchange of best practices and experiences in economic education and university management;
• Organizing conferences, seminars and joint research projects;
• Strengthening the role of economic universities in regional and European developments;

The University of Tirana is an active part of ASECU, contributing to projects and initiatives aimed at the development of economic education and regional cooperation. Participation in this network enables the UT to increase academic capacities, create opportunities for students and staff, and strengthen ties with economic universities in Southeastern and Eastern Europe.
