Purpose of the project is to enable entrepreneurs to capture the potential of ITCs and gain the necessary tools to increase their competitiveness, grow towards other markets and introduce innovation at all stages of their business cycle. The motive is to prepare the ground for educational and training initiatives for the improvement of human resources and sustainable regional socio-economic development. 7 partners ready to improve territorial competitiveness, promoting and supporting the emergence of SMEs.
The project envisages the creation of a triple spiral approach (policy-scientific research-entrepreneurship), complemented by business support that will facilitate the identification, maturation and promotion of new entrepreneurial ideas in the agro-culture sector. The project addresses the issue of pre-incubation in the Agri-Food Sector as a necessary step to fill the existing gap between higher education institutes and development structures, to facilitate the transfer of innovation.
Pre-incubators can provide a risk-reduced environment where new ideas with commercialization potential, generated by young innovators and existing entrepreneurs, can be further developed for market viability before establishing a company. Pre-incubators can be an important mechanism for providing the necessary knowledge and skills to new innovators and existing young entrepreneurs in order to start their own enterprise.
