Black Sea Universities Network (BSUN) is an international network of universities from the countries of the Black Sea region, created with the aim of strengthening academic, scientific and cultural cooperation between higher education institutions. The network serves as a platform for cooperation to address the common challenges and opportunities of the region, promoting peace, understanding and sustainable development.

The main objectives of the Black Sea Universities Network (BSUN) are:

• Promoting research and academic cooperation between member universities;
• Promoting the mobility of students, lecturers and administrative staff;
• Organization of joint scientific projects, conferences and cultural activities;
• Exchange of best practices in the field of higher education and innovation;
• Strengthening the role of universities in the Black Sea region in European and global developments;

The University of Tirana is a member of BSUN, participating in activities and initiatives aimed at strengthening international and regional cooperation. Through this network, the UT increases its international visibility, strengthens academic and scientific capacities and contributes to the sustainable development of the Black Sea region.
