The opening ceremony of the championship "Sports Cup 65 years UT"

In the "Asllan Rusi" Sports Palace, the opening ceremony of the "65 Years UT Sports Cup" activity took place. The 6 faculties of the University of Tirana are participating in this championship, with the inclusion of students and academic staff, who compete in three disciplines:

1) Women's volleyball (students)

2) Men's volleyball (students)

3) Basketball (academic staff)

The Rector of the University of Tirana Prof. participated in the opening ceremony of this championship. Dr. Artan Hoxha, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​Prof. Dr. Esmeralda Kromidha, Dean of the Faculty of Economics Prof. Dr. Dhori Kule, Dean of the Faculty of History and Philology Prof. Dr. Sabri Laçi, the President of the "Albanian University Sports Federation" Mr. Besnik Veliu, the Minister of Education and Sports Mrs. Evis Kushi and the Mayor of Tirana Mr. Erion Veliaj.

In his welcoming speech, the Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha wished success to the teams participating in this championship, students and academic staff, which this time is even more special as it is held within the 65th anniversary of the establishment of UT.

This activity also marks the beginning of a series of activities that are scheduled to be organized on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the founding of the University of Tirana.
