First-cycle study programs aim to provide basic knowledge of general scientific methods and principles and certain skills in a wide variety of professions and specialties.
The study programs of the first cycle at the University of Tirana are realized, as a rule, with 180 European credits (ECTS) and their normal duration is 3 (three) academic years.
Students in this program, based on the criteria established in the UT regulation for the average grade, can graduate with a general final exam or thesis.
At the end of the study programs of the first cycle, a "Bachelor" university diploma is issued in the field of completed education.
