🇦🇱 Albanian version

Project title: “Consolidation and expansion of the cooperation and development network for human and sustainable development”"

The University of Pavia, with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation and Development (AICS), has launched a three-year project “Consolidation and expansion of the cooperation and development network for human and sustainable development”. The aim of the project is to strengthen and expand the Cooperation and Development Network (CDN) – an international network of universities dedicated to training future professionals in the field of human and sustainable development.

As part of this expansion, Albania joins the CDN as a new partner through the University of Tirana. The project will conduct a feasibility study on the possibility of creating a new master’s program in the field of cooperation and development, responding to Albania’s increasing role in regional development and EU integration policies. This initiative represents an important opportunity for building national capacities in sustainable development management and for creating new academic and professional opportunities for students and professionals in Albania.

Across the network, the project will implement two editions of master study programs in each of the seven CDN universities, offer 72 full scholarships for students and 14 mobilities for professors of CDN universities, promote scientific research in the field of cooperation and development and organize five summer schools/workshops. The project will be coordinated by the University of Pavia through the Center for Global Strategic Engagement (GLOBEC), ensuring close cooperation between all partner institutions.
