Rectors of Albanian universities are decreed!

Yesterday, the President of the Republic of Albania, Sh. TZ Bajram Begaj decreed all university rectors in the country, who emerged from the June elections.

Among them the rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha who will lead the University of Tirana for a second term. 

During his speech in front of all the elected rectors, President Begaj quoted that "It is your duty to ensure that our universities are places where knowledge shines, where students are inspired and motivated, where academic freedom is encouraged, where the quality of teaching increases, where it is cultivated , scientific research is improved and promoted, creating an environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity and innovation."

Through a post on his Facebook social network, Professor Hoxha states that: "The commitment to quality education in the service of society is a strong motive for the maximum commitment of all our university structures. The difficult but successfully passed challenges in the past 4 years have increased our confidence that with work and a healthy spirit of cooperation, we can go far."
