objective the main objective of the project was to contribute to increasing the research potential for researchers in Western Balkan universities in accordance with national strategies and those of the European Union. The methodology to achieve this objective was realized through procedures and practices for the management of research workers in partner universities to improve standards in accordance with European standards.

A continuous process of training and informing young research workers aimed at promoting professional growth and creating opportunities for them. The fulfillment of this above objective was achieved through a set of university legal acts in accordance with the management of the potential of research workers and scientific research as well as an increase in the professional level of research workers through various trainings.

The work was focused on three groups:

  • Improving policies and practices for scientific research by harmonizing them with European standards and strategies for research workers.
  • Enhancing career development and creating opportunities for researchers through improving transferable skills
  • Promoting regional cooperation to harmonize the potentials of research workers and for further awareness of the principles of scientific research.

For the realization of the above goals, a series of activities were undertaken, starting from the preparation or improvement of a series of by-laws and essential documents related to scientific research, as well as through various trainings. Trainings were carried out for administrative staff, research workers and new lecturers. After training visits to partner universities in Europe, the Consortium prepared an action plan for improving and expanding the role of potential research workers. The project has provided necessary equipment and software to support research workers more efficiently. The motto of the project was "a great university for research workers and great research workers for the university".
