Estonia, as a model of integration and educational standard.

Today, the Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha had the pleasure of welcoming the President of Estonia Mr. Alar Karis.

In this meeting, the experience and positive practices of Estonia in the integration process in the EU were discussed, and above all, the practices of innovation, scientific research and quality assurance in Higher Education were discussed. It should be noted that Estonia is a small country of the European Union, but with one of the highest standards in the world of education and mass use of technology.

This meeting was also attended by representatives of the UT academic staff, who had the opportunity to ask questions and exchange ideas with Mr. Karis.

Rector Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha said that the University of Tirana is always a promoter of new initiatives and hopes that relations with Estonia will continue even within the framework of the signing of cooperation agreements between UT and HEIs in Estonia.
