The call for applications for scholarships for students at Vytautas Magnus University, in Lithuania, for the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024 is open.

 

Within the framework of the Erasmus + program, the call for applications for mobility scholarships for students of the University of Tirana at the Vytautas Magnus University in Lithuania has been opened, for the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024.

Types of mobility include:

 

- Student exchange for studies;

Duration of scholarships:

– Bachelor (1 semester);

– Master (1 semester);

– Doctorate (1 semester).

Scholarships include:

 

– Monthly allowance (800 EUR per month for students);

 

– Travel costs (depending on the distance between the host and home university)

Students benefiting from Erasmus+ mobility will not pay any tuition fees at the host university. Students will continue to pay their tuition and/or registration fees at their home university.

 

*The host university offers an additional grant of 250 Euro/month for categories of people in need, including: students who receive social benefits according to Albanian legislation, students with disabilities, students under 25 who have orphan status, students with children under 12 years old, students who have refugee status. Each applicant must attach supporting documentation to the application.

Documents required for application for Bachelor level students:

– CV (in English);

– Passport copy;

– Student certificate (in Albanian and officially translated into English);

– Grade list (in Albanian and officially translated into English);

– Letter of Motivation in English;

- Foreign language certificate (English B2);

In case the student does not have a foreign language certificate, he can be provided with a statement from the subject lecturer at UT, according to the following format:

-*Learning Agreement;

*Learning Agreement is a contract between the home university and the applicant and serves to determine the courses you will develop at the host university. You only need to complete the first section "Mobility Plan". Table A defines the subjects and credits you will receive at the host university, table B defines which of the subjects from Table A will be recognized at the University of Tirana when you have completed the exchange period.

ATTENTION: You must choose to perform at the University Vytautas Magnus same courses as you would do in the second semester at your faculty, so that the courses and credits will be recognized when you return. If the selected courses differ from those you would develop in your faculty in the second semester, then when you return you must develop the courses that do not fit in the University of Tirana.

The "Learning Agreement" document in the "Commitment" section is signed first by the applicant, then by the academic coordinator at the faculty level and then in the Rectors by the Institutional Coordinator of Erasmus +. If the student changes courses during mobility, the During mobility section must be signed by the person in charge at the faculty and then by the person in charge at the Rectors.

– A brief description of the proposed work plan, also approved by the UT leader;
