The call for applications for full-time academic staff of the University of Tirana is open at the University Cankiri Karatekin, Turkey, for the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024. Application deadline: 06 November 2023
Within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, the call for applications for mobility scholarships for full-time staff of the University of Tirana at Cankiri Karatekin University, Turkey, for the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024 has been opened. Types of mobility include:
– Exchange of full-time academic staff for teaching;
– The exchange of administrative/administrative assistant academic staff full-time for training;
Duration:
- 5 days;
The mobility preferably takes place on March 4-8, 2024 or May 6-10, 2024, since the host university will organize 2 International Weeks.
In case the academic staff finds it impossible to participate in these dates, they can propose other dates, but in any case the mobility must be completed before May 31, 2023.
Areas of teaching (for academic staff):
Mobility of academic staff for teaching will be accepted in departments where courses are offered in English, according to the specifications:
– Mathematics (for Bachelor and Master level students);
– Economics (for Bachelor and Master level students);
– Political science and international relations (for Master's level students);
– Chemistry (for Master level students);
– Biology (for Master level students);
– Business administration (for Master's level students);

For training mobilities, the applicant staff will have to describe the similarities between their work and daily activity with the relevant office/department at the host university.
Scholarships include:
-Daily compensation (140 EUR for staff);
-Travel costs (depending on the distance between the host and home university)

Documents required for full-time staff application:
– CV + List of publications (for academic staff), (in English);
– Passport copy;
– Letter of motivation (in English);
– Employment Certificate (in Albanian language);
– Foreign language certificate;
– Proof of whether or not you have previously completed an Erasmus+ mobility (if yes, where);

– Mobility plan for teaching / training;

The Mobility Plan is a document that should specify your proposed program that you will carry out during the exchange period. This document is signed by the applicant at the time of application and then by the Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator.
Deadline for application: 06 November 2023
The documents must be delivered by hand to the Rectorate of the University of Tirana, Department of External Relations, and must be sent scanned to the e-mail iro@unitir.edu.al.
