The call for applications is open for students of the University of Tirana at the University of Maribor, Slovenia, within the Erasmus + Program, for the second semester of the academic year 2024-2025.

The call for applications is open for students of the University of Tirana at the University of Maribor, Slovenia, within the Erasmus + Program, for the second semester of the academic year 2024-2025.

Within the framework of the Erasmus + program, the call for applications for scholarships for mobility for students of the University of Tirana to the University of Maribor, in Slovenia, for the second semester of the academic year 2024-2025 has been opened.

Types of mobility include:

- Student exchange for studies;

Mobility levels for students:

– Bachelor;

– Masters;

Duration of scholarships:

– Bachelor (1 semester);

– Master (1 semester);

Scholarships include:

- Monthly compensation (800 EUR per month for students + 250 EUR per month for students who belong to the "fewer opportunities" group, who must also submit the verification documentation);

– Travel costs (depending on the distance between the host and home university)

Students benefiting from Erasmus+ mobility will not pay any tuition fees at the host university. Students will continue to pay their tuition and/or registration fees at their home university.

Documents required for application for Bachelor and Master level students:

– Passport copy;

– Student certificate (in Albanian and officially translated into English);

– List of grades (in Albanian and officially translated into English), for Master's level students also need the list of grades for Bachelor's level;

– Copy of Bachelor's degree (Master's students only)

– Letter of Motivation in English;

– CV (in English);

– Foreign language certificate (min English B1);

– Application form;

– Declaration signed by the applicant on residence, birth and citizenship;

– Declaration signed by the applicant on already completed mobilities;

– EMSO statement;

– GDPR statement;

-*Learning Agreement (minimum 20 ECTS). For this document you must register at the link: https://studentexchange.um.si/  (mobility type: CREDIT MOBILITY!)

*Learning Agreement is a contract between the home university and the applicant and serves to determine the courses you will develop at the host university. You only need to complete the first section ''Before the mobility. Table A defines the subjects and credits you will receive at the host university, table B defines which of the subjects of Table A will be recognized at the University of Tirana when you have completed the exchange period.

ATTENTION: You must choose to perform at the University of Maribor, the same courses as those you would complete in the second semester at your faculty, so that the courses and credits will be recognized when you return. If the selected courses differ from those you would develop in your faculty in the second semester, then when you return you must develop the courses that do not fit in the University of Tirana.

The "Learning Agreement" document in the "Commitment" section is signed first by the applicant, then by the academic coordinator at the faculty level and then in the Rectors by the Institutional Coordinator of Erasmus +. If the student changes courses during mobility, the During mobility section must be signed by the person in charge at the faculty and then by the person in charge at the Rectors.

Deadline for application: 22 October 2024

The documents must be delivered by hand to the Rectorate of the University of Tirana, Department of External Relations, and must be sent scanned to the e-mail iro@unitir.edu.al.
