The call for applications for students of the University of Tirana is open at the University of Trieste, Italy, within the Erasmus + program, for the first semester of the academic year 2024-2025.

Within the framework of the Erasmus + program, the call for applications for mobility scholarships for students of the University of Tirana has been opened at the University of Trieste, Italy, for the first semester of the academic year 2024-2025.

Types of mobility include:

- Student exchange for studies;

Mobility levels for students:

– Bachelor;

– Masters;

Duration of scholarships:

-        1 semester.

Fields of study:

– Political and social sciences;

Scholarships include:

– Monthly allowance (850 EUR per month for students);

– Travel costs (depending on the distance between the host and home universities);

Students benefiting from Erasmus+ mobility will not pay any tuition fees at the host university. Students will continue to pay their tuition and/or registration fees at their home university.

Documents required for application for level students Bachelor:

– CV (in English / Italian);

– Passport copy;

– Student certificate (in Albanian and officially translated into English / Italian);

– Grade list (in Albanian and officially translated into English / Italian);

– Letter of Motivation in English / Italian;

– Foreign language certificate (English B2 / Italian B2, depending on the study program);

-*Learning Agreement;

*Learning Agreement is a contract between the home university and the applicant and serves to determine the courses you will develop at the host university. You only need to complete the first section ''Before the mobility. Table A defines the subjects and credits you will receive at the host university, table B defines which of the subjects of Table A will be recognized at the University of Tirana when you have completed the exchange period.

ATTENTION: You must select to commit to of the host university the same courses as those you would take in the first semester at your faculty, so that the courses and credits will be recognized when you return. If the selected subjects differ from those you would develop in your faculty the first semester, then when you return you must develop the subjects that do not fit in the University of Tirana.

The "Learning Agreement" document in the "Commitment" section is signed first by the applicant, then by the academic coordinator at the faculty level  and then to the Rectors by the Institutional Coordinator of Erasmus +. If the student changes courses during mobility, the During mobility section must be signed by the person in charge at the faculty and then by the person in charge at the Rectors.

Deadline for applications: May 24, 2024

The documents must be submitted by hand to the Rectorate of the University of Tirana, Department of External Relations, and must  are sent to  scanned in  pdf format in the e-mail iro@unitir.edu.al.
