The call for applications is open for students of the University of Tirana at the Saarland University, in Germany, within the Erasmus + Program, for the first semester of the academic year 2024-2025.

The call for applications for students of the University of Tirana is open at the University Saarland, in Germany, within the Erasmus + Program, for the first semester of the academic year 2024-2025.

 

Within the framework of the Erasmus + Program, the call for applications for scholarships for mobility for students of the University of Tirana to Saarland University, Germany, for the first semester of the academic year 2024-2025 has been opened.

Mobility levels for students:

– Bachelor;

– Masters;

 

Fields of study:

– Justice;

– Chemistry;

– Foreign language;

Scholarships include:

– Monthly allowance (800 EUR per month for students);

– Travel costs (depending on the distance between the host and home university)

Students benefiting from Erasmus+ mobility will not pay any tuition fees at the host university. Students will continue to pay their tuition and/or registration fees at their home university.

Documents required for application for Bachelor level students:

– CV (in English / German);

– Passport copy;

- Student certificate (in Albanian and officially translated into the language that will be followed the exchange program);

– List of grades (in Albanian and officially translated into the language that will be followed the exchange program);

-Motivation letter, in the language that will be followed the exchange program;

– Foreign language certificate (depending on the study program at Saarland University);

 

-*Learning Agreement

* Learning Agreement is a contract between the home university and the applicant and serves to determine the courses you will study at the host university. You only need to complete the first section "Before the mobility". Table A defines the subjects and credits you will receive at the host university, table B defines which of the subjects of Table A will be recognized at the University of Tirana when you have completed the exchange period.

ATTENTION: You must select the perform in Saarland University subjects of the same as those you would complete in the first semester at your faculty, this so that the courses and credits will be recognized when you return. If the selected courses differ from those you would develop in your faculty in the first semester, then when you return you must develop the courses that do not fit in the University of Tirana.

The "Learning Agreement" document in the "Commitment" section is signed first by the applicant, then by the academic coordinator at the faculty level and then in the Rectors by the Institutional Coordinator of Erasmus +. If the student changes courses during mobility, the During mobility section must be signed by the person in charge at the faculty and then by the person in charge at the Rectors.

– Bachelor's grade list (in Albanian and officially translated into the language that will be followed the exchange program);

- Master's grade list (in Albanian and officially translated into the language that will be followed the exchange program;

- Letter of Motivation, in the language that will be followed the exchange program;

– Foreign language certificate (depending on the study program at Saarland University);

Deadline for application: June 14, 2024

The documents must be delivered by hand to the Rectorate of the University of Tirana, Department of External Relations, and they must be sent scanned to the e-mail iro@unitir.edu.al.
