The call for applications is open for students at the University of Ioannina, in Greece, within the framework of the Erasmus + Program, for the second semester of the academic year 2025-2026.

Within the framework of the Erasmus + program, a call for applications for mobility scholarships for students of the University of Tirana at the University of Ioannina, in Greece, for the second semester of the academic year 2025-2026 has been opened.

Types of mobility include:

- Student exchange for studies;

Mobility levels for students:

– Bachelor;

– Doctorate.

Duration of scholarships:

– for Bachelor students – 1 semester;

– for Doctoral students – 1 semester / 5-30 days;

Fields of study:

  • Greek Literature and Linguistics;

Scholarships include:

– Monthly allowance (850 EUR per month for students);

– Travel costs (depending on the distance between the host and home university)

Students benefiting from Erasmus+ mobility will not pay any tuition fees at the host university. Students will continue to pay their tuition and/or registration fees at their home university.

Documents required for application for students:

– CV (in English / Greek);

– Passport copy;

– Student certificate (in Albanian and officially translated into English or Greek);

– Master's degree (for doctoral students);

– List of grades for the current level of studies (for PhD students, the list of grades for previous levels of studies must also be attached), (in Albanian and officially translated into English or Greek);

– Letter of Motivation in English / Greek;

– Foreign language certificate (English / Greek);

-*Learning Agreement;

*The Learning Agreement is a contract between the home university and the applicant and serves to determine the courses you will take at the host university. You only need to complete the second section ''Before the mobility. Table A specifies the courses and credits you will take at the host university, Table B specifies which of the courses in Table A will be recognized at the University of Tirana when you have completed the exchange period.

ATTENTION: You must choose to perform at the University of Ioannina the same courses as those you would complete in the second semester at your faculty, so that the courses and credits will be recognized when you return. If the selected courses differ from those you would develop in your faculty in the second semester, then when you return you must develop the courses that do not fit in the University of Tirana.

The "Learning Agreement" document in the "Commitment" section is signed first by the applicant, then by the academic coordinator at the faculty level and then in the Rectors by the Institutional Coordinator of Erasmus +.

The documentation must be submitted by hand to the Rectorate of the University of Tirana, Department of External Relations, as well as scanned and sent to the address iro@unitir.edu.al .
