The call for applications is open for students at the University of Malaga, in Spain, within the Erasmus + program, for the first semester of the academic year 2026-2027.

Within the framework of the Erasmus + program, the call for applications for scholarships for mobility for students of the University of Tirana to the University of Malaga, in Spain, has been opened for the first semester of the academic year 2026-2027.

Types of mobility include:

- Student exchange for studies;

Mobility levels for students:

– Doctorate;

Duration of scholarships:

– 1 semester (12.09.2026-12.02.2027);

– 3 – 5 months within the academic semester;

 

Fields of study:

  • Justice;
  • Economy;
  • Communication science;
  • Natural sciences;
  • Psychology;
  • foreign language;
  • History - Philology;
  • Social work.

Scholarships include:

– Monthly allowance (850 EUR per month for students);

– Travel costs (depending on the distance between the host and home university)

Students benefiting from Erasmus+ mobility will not pay any tuition fees at the host university. Students will continue to pay their tuition and/or registration fees at their home university.

Documents required for application for PhD level students:

– CV (in English / Spanish, depending on the language in which the mobility is proposed to be carried out);

– Passport copy;

– Student certificate (in Albanian and officially translated into English or Spanish, depending on the language in which the mobility is proposed to be carried out);

– List of grades and previous levels of studies (in Albanian and officially translated into English or Spanish, depending on the language in which the mobility is proposed to be carried out);

– Letter of Motivation in English / Spanish;

– Foreign language certificate (English / Spanish);

-*Learning Agreement;

*Learning Agreement is a contract between the home university and the applicant and serves to determine the courses you will develop at the host university. You only need to complete the first section ''Before the mobility. Table A defines the subjects and credits you will receive at the host university, table B defines which of the subjects of Table A will be recognized at the University of Tirana when you have completed the exchange period.

ATTENTION: You must choose to perform at the University of Malaga the same topic as the one you will complete at your faculty.

The ''Learning Agreement'' document in the ''Commitment'' section is signed initially by the applicant, then by the responsible person at the faculty level, and then at the Rectorate by the Erasmus + Institutional Coordinator.

Deadline for application: June 16, 2026, 10:00 p.m.

The documents must be delivered by hand to the Rectorate of the University of Tirana, Department of External Relations, and must be sent scanned to the e-mail iro@unitir.edu.al.
