The call for scholarships within the framework of the Erasmus + program at the University is open Alexandru Ioan Cuza of Iași, Romania for the second semester of the 2025-2026 academic year.

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, a call for applications for mobility scholarships for students of the University of Tirana at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, Romania, for the second semester of the academic year 2025-2026 has been opened.

Types of mobility include:

- Student exchange for studies;

Duration of scholarships:

– 1 semester (February 16 – June 21, 2026);

Mobility levels for students:

– Bachelor;

– Masters;

– Doctorate;

Field of study:

  • History and Archaeology;
  • Philosophy and ethics;
  • foreign language;
  • Social and behavioral sciences;
  • Journalist;
  • Business administration;
  • The teacher;
  • Justice;
  • Biology and its sciences;
  • Physics;

Scholarships include:

– Monthly allowance (800 EUR per month for students)

– Travel costs (depending on the distance between the host and home university)

Students benefiting from Erasmus+ mobility will not pay any tuition fees at the host university. Students will continue to pay their tuition and/or registration fees at their home university.

Documents required for application for Bachelor level students:

 -CV (in English);

 

 -Copy of Passport;

 

 -Student certificate (in Albanian and officially translated into English);

 

 -List of grades (current level and previous levels, for Master/PhD students), (in Albanian and officially translated into English);

 

 -Motivation Letter (in English);

 -Learning Agreement*

*Learning Agreement is a contract between the home university and the applicant and serves to determine the courses you will develop at the host university. You only need to complete the first section "Mobility Plan". Table A defines the subjects and credits you will receive at the host university, table B defines which of the subjects from Table A will be recognized at the University of Tirana when you have completed the exchange period.

ATTENTION: You must choose to perform at the University Alexandru Ioan Cuza of Iași courses that are the same as those you would take in the second semester at your faculty, so that the courses and credits will be recognized when you return. If the selected courses differ from those you would take in your faculty in the second semester, then when you return you must take the courses that do not fit at the University of Tirana.

The "Learning Agreement" document in the "Commitment" section is signed first by the applicant, then by the academic coordinator at the faculty level and then in the Rectors by the Institutional Coordinator of Erasmus +. If the student changes courses during mobility, the During mobility section must be signed by the person in charge at the faculty and then by the person in charge at the Rectors.

Deadline for application: 30 September 2025

The documents must be delivered by hand to the Rectorate of the University of Tirana, Department of External Relations, and they must be sent scanned to the e-mail iro@unitir.edu.al.
