The call for scholarships under the Erasmus + program for students of the University of Tirana at the University of Piraeus in Greece for the first semester of the academic year 2021-2022 is open.

The University of Tirana opens the call for applications for scholarships for mobility at the University of Piraeus, Greece, within the Erasmus + program, for UT students for studies, for the first semester of the academic year 2021-2022.

Types of mobility include:

 

- Student exchange for studies;

 

Mobility levels for students:

 

– Bachelor;

 

– Masters;

 

*Third year Bachelor students and second year Master students cannot apply.

 

Fields of exchange:

 

  • Economics;
  • Political science;
  • Business administration;
  • Information and Communication Technology

Duration of scholarships:

 

– Bachelor (1 semester);

– Master (1 semester).

 

Scholarships include:

 

– Monthly compensation (800 EUR per month)

 

– Travel costs (depending on the distance between the host and home university)

Students benefiting from Erasmus + mobility will not pay any tuition fees at the host university. Students will continue to pay their tuition and/or registration fees at their home university.

 

Documents required for application for Bachelor level students:

- CV (in English / Greek, depending on the language in which the mobility will take place);

-Copy of Passport;

-Student certificate (in Albanian and officially translated into English or Greek);

-List of bachelor's grades (in Albanian and officially translated into English or Greek);

-Motivation letter in English / Greek depending on the study program;

- Foreign language certificate (English / Greek depending on the study program);

-*Learning Agreement;

*Learning Agreement is a contract between the home university and the applicant and serves to determine the courses you will develop at the host university. You only need to complete the first section ''Before the Mobility. Table A defines the subjects and credits you will receive at the host university, table B defines which of the subjects from Table A will be recognized at the University of Tirana when you have completed the exchange period.

ATTENTION: You must choose to perform at the University of Piraeus the same courses as those you would complete in the first semester at your faculty, so that the courses and credits will be recognized when you return. If the selected courses differ from those you would develop in your faculty the first semester, then when you return you must develop the courses that do not fit in the University of Tirana.

 

The "Learning Agreement" document in the "Commitment" section is signed by the applicant, then by the academic coordinator at the faculty level and finally in the Rectors by the Erasmus + Institutional Coordinator. If the student changes courses during mobility, the document is signed in the same way in the "during mobility" section.

Deadline for application: 17 May 2021

The documents must be submitted by hand to the Rectorate of the University of Tirana, Directorate of External Relations and Students, Sector of External Relations, as well as scanned via e-mail to the address iro@unitir.edu.al.
