The University of Tirana opens the call for applications for scholarships for mobility at the Middle East Technical University, in Ankara, Turkey within the Erasmus + program, for UT students for studies, for the second semester of the academic year 2019-2020.
Types of mobility include:
-Student exchange for studies with an Erasmus+ scholarship;
- Exchange of students for studies with a grant (the student does not pay tuition fees at METU University, but does not cover the costs of travel, accommodation and stay by himself)
Mobility levels for students:
- Bachelor (exchange for studies);
- Master (study exchange);
*Master's level students can also complete the diploma thesis research, but must contact individually with a professor from METU University, according to the student's study program, who is willing to work with them.
Duration of scholarships:
-Bachelor (5 months);
- Master (5 months);

Scholarships include:
- Monthly compensation (800 EUR per month for students who benefit from the Erasmus+ scholarship);
- Travel costs (275 EUR, for Erasmus+ scholarship students);
Students benefiting from Erasmus+ mobility will not pay any tuition fees at the host university. Students will continue to pay their tuition and/or registration fees at their home university.
Documents required for application for students Bachelor:
- CV (in English/Turkish);
- Personal photo;
- Copy of Passport;
- Bachelor's degree student certificate (officially translated into English/Turkish, depending on the study program);
- List of grades (officially translated into English/Turkish, depending on the study program);
- Letter of Motivation (in English/Turkish, depending on the study program);
- Foreign language certificate B1 according to the CEFR system (English/Turkish depending on the study program);
*Learning Agreement (the student must complete 30 ECTS at METU);
*Learning Agreement is a contract between the home university and the applicant and serves to determine the courses you will develop at the host university. You only need to complete the first section ''Before the Mobility. Table A defines the subjects and credits you will receive at the host university, table B defines which of the subjects from Table A will be recognized at the University of Tirana when you have completed the exchange period.
ATTENTION: You must choose to complete at METU University the same courses as those you would complete in the second semester at your faculty, so that the courses and credits will be recognized when you return. If the selected courses differ from those you would develop in your faculty in the second semester, then when you return you must develop/attend the courses that do not fit in the University of Tirana.
The "Learning Agreement" document in the "Commitment" section is signed first by the applicant, then by the academic coordinator at the faculty level and then in the Rectors by the Institutional Coordinator of Erasmus +. If the student changes courses during mobility, the During mobility section must be signed by the person in charge at the faculty and then by the person in charge at the Rectors.

Deadline for application: December 02, 2019 at 11:30.
The documents must be delivered by hand to the Rectorate of the University of Tirana, Directorate of External Relations and Students, Sector of External Relations from Monday to Thursday 10:30 - 11:30 and 14:30 - 16:00, as well as to be sent scanned to e-mail iro@unitir.edu.al.
