The call for scholarships for students of the University of Tirana within the Erasmus + program at the University of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, in Germany, for the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024 is open.

Within the framework of the Erasmus + program, the call for applications for scholarships for mobility for students of the University of Tirana to the Humboldt University – Universität zu Berlin, in Germany, for the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024 has been opened.

Types of mobility include:

- Student exchange for studies;

Fields of exchange:

– Slavic language;

– English language;

– German language.

 

Mobility levels for students:

– Bachelor

- Master's degree

 

Duration of scholarships:

– 1 semester;

Scholarships include:

– Monthly compensation for students (850 EUR per month);

– Travel costs (depending on the distance between the host and home university)

Students benefiting from Erasmus+ mobility will not pay any tuition fees at the host university. Students will continue to pay their tuition and/or registration fees at their home university.

Documents required for application for Bachelor level students:

 - CV (in English / German);

 -Copy of Passport;

 -Student certificate (in Albanian as well as officially translated into English / German, depending on the language in which the mobility will take place);

 -Learning Agreement*

* Learning Agreement is a contract between the home university and the applicant and serves to determine the courses you will study at the host university. You only need to complete the first section ''Before the mobility. Table A defines the subjects and credits you will receive at the host university, table B defines which of the subjects of Table A will be recognized at the University of Tirana when you have completed the exchange period.

ATTENTION: You must select to commit to the host university the same courses as those you would complete in the second semester at your faculty, so that the courses and credits will be recognized when you return. If the selected courses differ from those you would develop in your faculty in the second semester, then when you return you must develop the courses that do not fit in the University of Tirana.

The "Learning Agreement" document in the "Commitment" section is signed by the applicant, then by the academic coordinator at the faculty level and finally in the Rectors by the Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator. If the student changes courses during mobility, the During mobility section must be signed by the person in charge at the faculty and then by the person in charge at the Rectorate

Deadline for applications: December 11, 2023

The documents must be delivered by hand to the Rectorate of the University of Tirana, Department of External Relations, and must be sent scanned to the e-mail iro@unitir.edu.al.
