The European Commission has planned to finance the "Horizon Europe" program for the years 2021-2027, as the most ambitious program in the field of research and innovation, which aims to expand European excellence, in scientific fields, for all EU countries. The five identified Areas (Missions) on which research and innovation will be focused and funded in order to implement and realize the objectives for the next seven years are:

Smart and climate neutral cities

Healthy oceans, seas, coastal and inland waters,

Soil health and nutrition
Regarding the above, the online event titled "Mission Cancer - Actions of the European Commission for the fight against cancer", on September 10, 2020, 15:00-17:30.
The organizers will be the Sacro Cuore Catholic University, the Agostino Gemelli IRCCS University Polytechnic Foundation, the IRCCS Foundation, the National Tumor Institute and APRE Italy.
