The aim of the project is to strengthen the international, intercultural and global dimension through the implementation of in-country internationalization (IAH) in partner HEIs, in order to increase the quality of education and make a significant contribution to society.

Project objectives include:

to formulate a coherent and detailed concept of IaH that can be included in the Roadmap of partner HEIs following their specific needs
to increase the scope and sustainability of IaH activities implemented in partner HEIs
to train the group of experts capable of developing and integrating IaH in the HEI environment
to launch an online platform as a tool for implementing IaH
to create/modernize the existing structure/entities responsible for IaH in HEIs

During the first year, the project tries to make an analysis of all previous international projects implemented in each country in the field of internationalization. This will not only produce an overview of the mechanisms used to drive internationalization, but also provide a gap analysis that opens the door for further and systematic improvement. This will allow the formulation of a coherent and unified concept of IaH in all countries, which will facilitate the understanding and application of the concept in practical terms. An online platform will be opened for all partners to support the e-learning process, monitor training and document translation. The expected final results of the INTERBA project are:

Increasing research capacities and the quality of research results of PC universities;
Starting a continuous process of cooperation in research and innovation between universities and local enterprises.
