The Department of Civil Law at the Faculty of Law organized the National Conference "Developments and Innovations of Private Law". 

This conference coincided with the 30th anniversary of the entry into force of the Civil Code. Rector of Ut, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha, one of the drafters of the Civil Code, spoke about the work on the drafting of the Code, its stability over time, the progress of its implementation, the challenges of civil legislation to respond to developments in society, technology, legal-civil relations, challenges with the adaptation of the legislation to that of the EU and the decisions of the ECJ (GJED).  

At the conference, over 30 papers were presented by lecturers from the Faculty of Law of UT, lecturers from other public universities, lecturers from Kosovo and North Macedonia, doctoral students and other researchers. Students also participate in the conference, even though it is exam season.
