Today, on 17.01.2017, in the premises of the Rectorate of the University of Tirana, the Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Mynyr Koni held a Press Conference regarding the Admission Criteria to the First Cycle Studies Programs as well as the admission criteria to the Integrated Second Cycle Studies Program at the Faculty of Law for the 2017-2018 Academic Year.

The rector emphasized that the established criteria are in full compliance with the curricula that the graduates have developed or are developing in the public and non-public pre-university systems in the Republic of Albania and abroad. Based on the analysis of the high school curriculum, Prof. Koni said that the University of Tirana has tried to set the perfect criteria in such a way that the work of graduates over the years is not lost, but is appreciated and they choose the study program that interests them.

Even this year, the criteria have a specific orientation based on:

– The average of three years of studies;

– The average of specific subject groups according to the study program of different UT faculties;

– Exams in some state matura study programs;

The core and the main composition of these criteria are the core curriculum subjects that are developed in the secondary education of the Republic of Albania.
