(If the space below is insufficient, add another sheet. This also applies to the following points)

The student has an integral role in all university institutions and in university life as well. Over the years, the University of Tirana has tried to strengthen this very important role, aiming at the active involvement of students in decision-making, research-scientific, cultural and social activities. In the UT Statute (2018), article 5 clearly states that the mission of the University of Tirana is providing student-centered education, as well as fostering professional and intellectual growth, to prepare students for productive careers and responsible citizens in a global society. Similarly, in Article 8, point 7 of this statute, it clearly states that: "During the exercise of its activity, the UT creates for students the conditions for the acquisition of knowledge, free expression of opinion and organization, in compliance with the requirements of coexistence, of law no. 80/2015 "On higher education and scientific research in institutions of higher education in the Republic of Albania" and the Regulation of the UT". Also, Article 135 of the UT Statute stipulates that "Students have the right to be organized in other forms recognized by the legislation in force and to carry out training, teaching and/or research-scientific activities on their own or in cooperation with the structures of the University and basic units".

The student scientific conference of UT with the theme: "Scientific research and education in the perspective of students and young researchers", comes at an important moment, where UT celebrates the 65th anniversary of its establishment.

The organization of the Student Scientific Conference aims to present the achievements in the field of scientific research of UT students and to create a network of cooperation between students to promote research, innovation and creativity. This conference also aims to promote the internationalization of the University of Tirana and its scientific product, creating a platform to promote and increase the capacity of students and the University.

In order to increase the social impact of this activity as much as possible, festive and cultural activities have been planned in the evening of the last day of the conference, for which cooperation from other actors will be requested.
