French Language Department, Faculty of Foreign Languages, in cooperation with other departments of FGJH, as well as with the support of French Embassy in Tirana, organized on February 24 and 25 a training seminar with the Director of the Institute of Translators, Interpreters and International Relations of Strasbourg Prof. Hoetzel Heckart.

On the 24th Prof. Heckart also held a meeting with the Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Dhori Kule in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​Prof.Dr. Klodeta Dibra, Head of the Department Prof.as.Dr. Esmeralda Kromidha and the Attaché of the French Embassy in Tirana, Mr. Alain Beaussier.

The purpose of the seminar was to prepare and adapt the study program of the first year of the second Cycle "Master of Science" in "Technical-Literary Translation and Interpretation" with the corresponding Program of the University of Strasbourg. Students, after successfully completing the first year of this program, will be provided with a delocalized diploma of the University of Strasbourg. This allows students the possibility of continuing their Master's studies in Strasbourg or in other European universities.

Cooperation with this prestigious institute aims at the best possible preparation of future translation specialists for the Albanian and international markets.
