Rector of the University of Tirana Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha and the Director of the Institute of Statistics (INSTAT), Mrs. Elsa Dhuli signed an agreement with the aim of cooperation between the parties to develop the quality of official statistics, scientific research processes, the involvement of the academic world in the production processes of official statistics and statisticians in the enrichment of teaching curricula.

This agreement aims to:

- To ensure the cooperation between the two institutions for the modernization of the statistical production processes, the increase of understanding and awareness in statistics as well as the facilitation of the scientific research processes.

-To place at each other's disposal all human and material resources, for the achievement of the goals provided for in this agreement.

- Enriching curricula and raising teaching systems in order to produce official statistics in accordance with European statistics standards.

Through this cooperation, INSTAT undertakes to support students and professors in research-scientific work related to statistics in various fields, through the provision of advanced statistical processing techniques and statistical methods, as well as providing them with evidence/certificates based on the program followed .

 

Both sides expressed readiness to make this cooperation effective and long-term.
