The first round of registrations is closed, within the forecasts of the University of Tirana.
The first round of registration of new students at the University of Tirana has ended. It is the same trend in applications to study at the largest university in the country, and there is even a modest increase in applications this year.
The same trend continued as last year regarding preferences, where for 5,133 places, this academic year there are 58,472 applications. At the top are the branches of Economic Informatics, Informatics, Finance, Law, Information Technology, English Language, German Language, etc.
Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha, in a communication with the media, highlighted some problems that are encountered in the branches of teaching and for which a new approach strategy is required to increase interest in them.
Prof. Dr. Hoxha emphasizes that the University of Tirana continues to remain the largest and most important institution of higher education in the country. He affirmed that he is working hard to create a more intensive communication between this institution and foreign universities to create more exchange opportunities for professors and students as well as to have joint study programs and scientific research activities with real effects on development of the country.
