April 29, 2026 marked the successful completion of the Pedagogical-Psychological Training Program for Young Lecturers at the University of Tirana, an initiative that contributes to increasing the quality of teaching and strengthening professional standards in higher education.
During this 12 (twelve) week program, participants developed skills to recognize and fulfill the main roles of the lecturer, to effectively use teaching methodologies in higher education, to organize learning according to student characteristics, to plan and implement student assessment, as well as to exercise digital competencies and prepare academic documentation according to standards. They also reflected on the challenges and opportunities of teaching in the contemporary context.
The closing ceremony was a special moment, where participants presented their work through seven presentations led by mentors and trainers of the program from the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences. The activity took place in the presence of the governing authorities of the University of Tirana, demonstrating the institutional commitment to quality in teaching.
The presentations brought innovative ideas and contemporary approaches to creating engaging and interactive classroom environments, inspiring all attendees. At the end of the program, participants were awarded certificates, marking an important step in their professional journey.
