The Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha held a meeting on April 1, 2022, with the Rector of Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Prof. Dr. Sedat Murat in the framework of the development of cooperation opportunities between the two universities.
This university is ranked among the top 1000 universities in the world in the Scimago Institutional Rankings World Reports 2012 and one of the best innovative universities in Turkey.
During the meeting it was discussed about:
- Cooperation within the Erasmus+ program for the exchange of staff and students
- Cooperation within the Mevlana program
- Study programs and joint bilateral projects
Representatives from UT were also part of the meeting: Deputy. Rector of UT Prof. Assoc. Dr. Bernard Dosti, Director of the Directorate of Scientific Research, Projects and External Relations Erida Elmazi, and representatives from Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University: Secretary General, Prof. Dr. Ayhan Monus, General Coordinator of Foreign Relations, Prof. Dr. Ayhan Oral, Deputy. The Coordinator for the International Office of Foreign Students, Ziya Arnavuto?lu, as well as from the Turkish Embassy, Metin Bulut and Samoena Brahimi.
Both sides expressed high interest in terms of intensifying relations and participating in joint projects of the two universities.
