The University of Tirana and the University of Gjilan in Kosovo signed an agreement that marks the beginning of cooperation between the two institutions of higher education. The agreement was signed by the two rectors, the Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha and the Rector of "Kadri Zeka" University, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Artan Drmaku.
The agreement defines the areas and ways of cooperation between the two institutions, including:
a. Exchange of academic personnel for the teaching process;
b. The exchange of lecturers, researchers and students in the framework of scientific research activity;
c. Encouragement, support and implementation of joint research and training projects;
d. Encouragement, support and realization of other scientific activities (conferences, seminars and publications in fields of mutual interest);
e. Exchange of scientific literature:
p. Exchange of experience related to institutional management;
p. the institutionalization of reciprocal and mutual cooperation in the field of providing assistance for raising the capacities of students of these universities;
g. Cooperation in the organization of regional and international activities and/or projects of common interest;
1. Exchange of experiences, practices and experts;
J. Development of research programs, research-scientific projects.
k. Joint organization of conferences, trainings, seminars and other professional collaborations;
The delegation of "Kadri Zeka" University was headed by the Rector, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Artan Drëmaku, and included the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Projects, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Dukagjin Leka, Vice Chancellor for Educational Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sadik Haxhiu, Vice Chancellor for Budget, Finance and Infrastructure, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Naim Mustafa, Vice Chancellor for Scientific Research, Prof. Asst. Dr. Arbona Xhemajli and Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Asst. Dr. Fatmire Krasniqi.
Both universities will have the common goal of identifying initiatives for promotion and professional support in the overall educational development of the two institutions.
