The University of Tirana signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Embassy of Spain in Tirana to support more Spanish language lecturers at UT.

The memorandum was signed by the Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha and the Ambassador of Spain in Tirana, Mr. Alvaro Renedo Zalba, and aims to support Spanish language studies at UT, contributing to the development and academic-institutional consolidation, for the inclusion of 1 (one) place for the University of Tirana, in the regular MAEC-AECID announcement of subsidies and aids for Spanish lecturers in foreign universities, starting from the academic year 2024/2025, so that UT has the technical assistance of a Spanish language lecturer in the Department of Spanish Language, in the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​of the University of Tirana.

• The meeting also discussed:

- Encouraging cooperation with several different Spanish universities;

-Enrichment of the library of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​with Spanish literature;

- Renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding with the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development.
