Among Albanian students at the University of Poitiers in France
Over 20 Albanian students from the University of Tirana attend part-time studies at the French University of Poitiers. Under the scholarships offered by the Erasmus+ program, they attend a semester or a full academic year.
They met last week with the leaders of the University of Tirana, Rector Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha and the Deans of the six faculties who visited Poitiers University, within the framework of the signing of a wider cooperation agreement between the two universities.
The rector of the University of Tirana invited the students to return to Albania after completing their studies, not only to continue the academic program, but also to work and contribute to their country. "The country today needs everyone's contribution, even more young people who have graduated from good universities abroad," said Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha.
Since 1992, there are at least 100 students who have benefited from various exchange programs with the University of Poitiers in France.
Meanwhile, the recently signed agreement, at the level of rectors and individual faculties, will open other opportunities for cooperation, also in the field of joint scientific research and the exchange of experiences between academic staff.
