The presentation of the document took place at the Rectorate of the University of Tirana in cooperation with UNDP "Policy and Procedures for the Elimination of Violence, Harassment and Sexual Harassment".
The University of Tirana is the first public academic institution that already has a policy and procedures dedicated to the fight against harassment and sexual harassment.
The Rector of UT Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha participated in the meeting, the Permanent Representative of the UNDP in Albania, Monica Merino, representatives of the University of Tirana, representatives of the academic staff and students interested in familiarising themselves with this document and its applicability in the future.
This document has been prepared by the University of Tirana with the support of UNDP Albania, as part of the United Nations Joint Program "Ending Violence against Women in Albania" financed by the Government of Sweden.
