The signing of the joint statement of the University of Tirana with 6 (six) European universities within the UNINoVIS alliance


     On January 10, 2024, the Rectors of 7 (seven) Partner Universities of the UNINOVIS EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY DATA FOR LIFE alliance (Sorbonne University Paris Nord, France, University of Applied Sciences, Tampere Finland, University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt, Germany, University of Malaga, Spain, the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli", Italy and the University of Applied Sciences of Kaunas, Lithuania), in the presence of the Deans of the UT faculties, signed the joint statement which defines the mission and long-term goals of the Alliance as follows:  

    1. Lifelong learning in data; 
    2. Integrate innovation ecosystems; 
    3. Foster green and digital transition; 
    4. Excellence in comprehending, analyzing, utilizing, managing and safeguarding data.

The European University UNINOVIS DATA FOR LIFE, which will have its physical office at the partner University Sorbonne Paris Nord, Paris, France, will enable cooperation between partner universities as well as with associated partners (University of Applied Sciences in The Hague, Netherlands, Technical University of Austria, etc., central, local state institutions, business, etc.) in each respective country for the development of new programs, scientific research, provision of services and capacity building in function of academic, economic, technological, social development and cultural.   

Students and academic staff of the University of Tirana will have the opportunity to be part of joint or double programs between the universities of the alliance and will be able to complete part of their studies in one of the partner universities.  

Also, the joint degree will enable students to choose the university in which they want to develop a part of their studies, practice and other teaching-scientific activities.  

The personnel of the Universities of the alliance will engage in the development of projects in local, regional and international priority areas.
