In the framework of the opening of the fourth call for Albanian resident researchers from the Academic Diaspora Research Expertise Scholarship Program (READ) established by the Albanian-American Development Foundation, the University of Tirana in order to increase the opportunities of academic staff to apply successful project proposals held the "Informative Day" on October 9, 2024, 12.00:XNUMX p.m, The Senate Hall of UT, with the participation of representatives of the "Albanian-American Development Foundation" and the academic staff of UT, participants in previous calls, who have been successful with their applications.
READ is a 7-year project that will connect Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Albania with the Albanian scientific diaspora and their respective academic institutions by accepting projects from resident researchers through which it is aimed to create a well-structured path for the channeling of scientific contributions of the diaspora in useful ways for Albanian HEIs.
READ aims to increase capacities in Albanian HEIs in cooperation with the Albanian diaspora and supports this cooperation through activities such as collaborative research, joint supervision of doctorates, development of curricula and courses through co-teaching, as well as encourages projects that combine co-teaching with other supported activities.
