A career counseling center to help students and graduates was opened at the Faculty of Social Sciences. This new research center is a partnership with the University of Lausanne in Switzerland, and with the support of RisiAlbania, a project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. The Career Research and Counseling Center at the Faculty of Social Sciences will be like a practical laboratory at the service of students, managing difficult counseling cases and scientific research in the career field.

Next to this faculty and in the presence of the leaders of RisiAlbania, the presentation of the project was also made, which will install the first career counseling office.

The center will guide and advise students in carrying out their internships, organizing research projects, orientations for further studies, etc. The educators emphasized that scientific research will be oriented to be applicable in society, and not studies to stay in the archives.

But these centers will not be at the service of students only. They will also be an open window for high school graduates, who will need to navigate their way to decide what branch they should follow to study.

"We must be an important point of reference to guide young people where they should study, so that they can choose the field where they have talent and prefer. We need to guide the young people on how they can look for a job after they have graduated" - emphasized the dean of FSHS Prof. Edmond Rapti.
