The Rectorate of the University of Tirana announces a competition for 1 (one) job position for academic assistant staff with an administrative character, with the title, "Specialist" in the Legal Sector, in the Directorate of Internal Services.

 

Competing candidates for the vacancy for academic assistant staff with an administrative character ""Legal Sector Specialist", near the Directorate of Internal Services, in the UT Rectorate, must complete these general criteria:

1. To be Albanian citizens with full ability to act;
2. Possess a Master of Science degree or equivalent in Law. The Bachelor's degree must also be in the same field. For degrees obtained abroad, they must be recognized by the ministry responsible for education; 
3. Not have been convicted by a final court decision for committing a criminal offense intentionally; 
4. Disciplinary measures of dismissal from work have not been taken against them.

 

Competing candidates for this position must also complete these special criteria:

1. It is preferable to have work experience of up to 1 year; 
2. To know very well the legislation in force, preferably the one in higher education; 
3. Have very good knowledge in the use of computers, proven by evidence; 
4. Know a foreign language, preferably English, proven by evidence; 
5. Have good communication skills, professional ethics and know how to work in a group.

 

 

Candidates must submit the following documents to the Human Resources Sector, to the Directorate of Internal Services, to the Rectorate of the University of Tirana:

1. Written request;
2. Curriculum vitae;
3. University degree (notarized photocopy) and list of grades. For degrees obtained at foreign universities, a notarized photocopy of the certificate of recognition from the competent authority must be submitted;
4. At least two references from previous employers;
5. Evidence of penalty;
6. Photocopy of identification document;
7. Proof of mastering a foreign language (notarized photocopy);
8. Evidence to prove basic knowledge of computer use (notarized photocopy);
9. Copy of work book (notarized photocopy);
10. Personal certificate;
11. Family status certificate;
12. Report issued by the Forensic Medical Commission;
13. Report on the performance of the basic medical check-up;

 

Documents are accepted at the Rectorate of the University of Tirana, "Mother Teresa" Square, Tirana, from 30.03.2026 - 13.04.2026. The selection of the winning candidates will be done through competition with files and direct interviews.
