The Rectorate of the University of Tirana announces the competition for 5 (five) vacancies for academic assistant personnel with an administrative character (click here for pdf format) , as follows:

1. Director of the Directorate of Scientific Research, Projects and External Relations;
2. Head of the Student Relations Department;
3. Specialist in the Student Relations Sector;
4. Specialist in the Quality Assurance Sector;
5. Specialist in the Legal Sector.

1. Competing candidates for the vacant job position for academic assistant staff with an administrative character with the duty "Director of the Directorate of Scientific Research, Projects and External Relationsë", in the UT Rectorate, must complete these general criteria:

1. To be Albanian citizens with full ability to act; 
2. Possess a "Master of Science" degree or an equivalent degree. For diplomas obtained abroad, their recognition has been made by the ministry responsible for education; 
3. Not having been convicted by a final court decision for committing a criminal offense intentionally;
4. The disciplinary measure of dismissal from work has not been taken against him.

Competing candidates for this position must also complete these special criteria:

1. Have at least 5 years of work experience in HEI, in the field of external relations, project writing/implementation. 
2. Candidates with degrees/scientific titles are preferred; 
3. It is preferred to have experience in European programs (Erasmus +, Horizon Europe, etc.);
4. To know very well the legislation in force, preferably the one in higher education;
5. Have very good knowledge in computer use; 
6. Know a foreign language, preferably English, proven by evidence; 
7. Have very good organizational skills, communication, professional ethics and know how to work in a group. 

 

2. Competing candidates for the vacancy for academic assistant staff with an administrative character "Head of the Student Relations Department", near the Directorate of Public and Student Relations, at the UT Rectorate, must complete these general criteria:

1. To be Albanian citizens with full ability to act; 
2. Possess a "Master of Science" degree or an equivalent degree in Public Relations. "Bachelor" level degrees must be in the direction of Journalism - Communication. For diplomas obtained abroad, their recognition has been made by the ministry responsible for education; 
3. Not have been convicted by a final decision of the court for committing a criminal offense intentionally; 
4. Disciplinary measures of dismissal from work have not been taken against them.

Competing candidates for this position must also complete these special criteria:

1. Have work experience of not less than 3 years, preferably work experience in the field of public relations, students; 
2. Have very good knowledge in the use of computers, proven by evidence; 
3. To know the English language with proof. Knowledge of other foreign languages ​​is an advantage; 
4. Have very good organizational skills, communication, professional ethics and know how to work in a group.

 

3. Competing candidates for the vacant job position for academic assistant staff with an administrative character with the duty "Specialist" in the Student Relations Sector, near the Directorate of Public and Student Relations, at the UT Rectorate, must complete these general criteria:

1. To be Albanian citizens with full ability to act;
2. Possess a "Master of Science" degree or an equivalent degree in Public Relations. "Bachelor" level degrees must be in the direction of Journalism - Communication. For diplomas obtained abroad, their recognition has been made by the ministry responsible for education;
3. Not have been convicted by a final court decision for committing a criminal offense intentionally;

4. Competing candidates for the vacancy for administrative assistant academic staff "Specialist" in the Quality Assurance Sector, near the Directorate of Curricula and Quality Assurance, in the UT Rectorate, must complete these general criteria:

1. To be Albanian citizens with full ability to act; 
2. Possess a "Master of Science" degree or an equivalent degree. For diplomas obtained abroad, their recognition has been made by the ministry responsible for education;
3. To have proof of at least one of the foreign languages ​​of the European Union (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish). If the candidate has obtained a diploma of a study program carried out in one of these languages, the diploma obtained serves as evidence for fulfilling this criterion;
4. Not have been convicted by a final court decision for committing a criminal offense intentionally;
5. Disciplinary measures of dismissal from work have not been taken against them.

Competing candidates for this position must also complete these special criteria:

1. Have at least 1 (one) year of work experience in the relevant field;
2. Have very good knowledge in the use of computers, proven by evidence;
3. Have very good knowledge of the Higher Education Law;
4. Have very good communication skills and know how to work in a group. 

 

5. Competing candidates for the vacancy for academic assistant staff with an administrative character "Specialist" in the Legal Sector, near the Directorate of Internal Services, in the UT Rectorate, must complete these general criteria:

1. To be Albanian citizens with full ability to act;
2. Possess at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in Law. For diplomas obtained abroad, their recognition has been made by the ministry responsible for education; 
3. Not have been convicted by a final court decision for committing a criminal offense intentionally; 
4. Disciplinary measures of dismissal from work have not been taken against them.

 

Competing candidates for this position must also complete these special criteria:

1. It is preferable to have work experience of up to 1 year; 
2. To know very well the legislation in force, preferably the one in higher education; 
3. Have very good knowledge in the use of computers, proven by evidence; 
4. Know a foreign language, preferably English, proven by evidence; 
5. Have good communication skills, professional ethics and know how to work in a group.

 

Candidates must submit the following documents to the Human Resources Sector, to the Directorate of Internal Services, to the Rectorate of the University of Tirana:

1. Written request;
2. Curriculum vitae;
3. Diploma of university studies (notarized photocopy). For diplomas obtained in foreign universities, a notarized photocopy of the recognition certificate from the competent body must be submitted;
4. At least two references from previous employers;
5. Evidence of penalty;
6. Proof of mastering a foreign language (notarized photocopy);
7. Evidence to prove basic knowledge of computer use (notarized photocopy);
8. Copy of work book (notarized photocopy);
9. Medical report on fitness for work.

Documents are accepted at the Rectorate of the University of Tirana, "Mother Teresa" Square, Tirana, from 15.11.2021 - 29.11.2021. The selection of the winning candidates will be done through competition with files and direct interviews.
