Purpose: The main objective of the study is to scientifically analyze the economic, social and academic factors that affect the demand for higher education in Albania. Furthermore, the following sub-objectives can be expected from this study:

• Description of the quantitative evolution of higher education in Albania during the study period.
• Examining the problems of the lack of places in public universities against the demand for these places.
• Examining the preferences of young people for studies and the trend of time.
• Reaching conclusions. and proposals that may be useful to decision makers in this area.
