Prof. Artan HOXHA, Rector of the University of Tirana, Chairman of the Conference of Rectors of Albania, participated in the meeting of the Conference of Rectors of the Universities of Greece at the invitation of the Chairman of the Conference, the Rector of the University of Ionia, Corfu-Greece, Prof. Andreas Floros, on March 23, 2023.

Prof. Dr. Artan HOXHA represented the Conference of Rectors of Albania and the University of Tirana in the panel on the topic: "THE CHARTER OF GREEK UNIVERSITIES FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT 2022-2030 "Greek Universities as Beacons of Sustainability" where he had the opportunity to meet the Minister of Education of Greece, Mrs. . Niki Kerameos.

In this Conference, it was proposed that the "Charter for sustainable development of Mediterranean Universities" should also include the Conference of the Rectors of Cyprus and Albania, where representatives of each party will work on the drafting of the joint document.
This meeting also served to reaffirm the excellent relations of cooperation between our two countries and in the field of higher education in particular.

The leaders of higher education expressed their support in the realization of common objectives between our institutions of higher education for common issues of the region.
